What do you think of the contemporary links Tango/Jazz; for instance, the album Tangomorphosis of Pablo Estigarribia or something like "Blues de Boedo" of Alfredo Tape Rubin.

I wouldn't classify that as tango/jazz, but rather electro tango. Don't really like either of them. For it to be 'jazz' is a matter of the harmony and these seem harmonically simple, repetitive and using electro gimmicks. I guess it's a matter of taste. I produced an electro tango lounge version of Cobian's 'Shusheta' and I think it sounds better even though I used AI to create it from a 1920s recording. I think it shows that those old tango romanza recordings are harmonically superior. Gotan Project, La Revancha del Tango, is the only electro tango album that's worth anything. https://open.spotify.com/track/4921Jq108ipqs88AaIP6mS?si=bd5738aca8eb462d

Thanks for the response ... but I was not referring to electro tango.Perhaps you could listen to the two examples I proposed. But as a great argento philosopher once said ... People do not listen ;-)

Ok I found the album and some are electro tango and some are more jazz. If you want me to comment you have to specify which track and give a link bc the album is all over the place.
